The Perk was introduced on August 18, 2023 with the official launch of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. On November 28, 2023 it received a nerf.
Strategy[]
This perk is highly effective against and designed to counter Hitchhiker, Nancy and Hands, as they are the family members who can place and reset traps.
If you plan on prioritizing lockpicks and key items over bone scrap, it can prove useful if you have a full inventory. However, it is only recommended to use this perk when playing against trappers as it does nothing against Leatherface, Cook, Sissy, or Johnny.
