Hurt 'Em is a Unique Family Perk only available to Nancy .
The Perk was introduced on November 28, 2023 with the implementation of Nancy's character into The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. It has received an additional effect with the patch from 22.05.2025.
Strategy[]
Hurt'Em is one of the worst perks in the entire game, but a lot of players don't know why, because they don't know the patheticly low damage of Nancy's traps.
At first impression a +50% damage increase might sound like a big deal, but Nancy's traps deal only 5 base damage. This means that this perks grants only +2,5 additional damage, making Nancy's traps deal 7,5 damage in total, making Hurt'Em a horrible choice.
The best "strategy" about this perk is understanding that +50% damage is essentially meaningless on Nancy's traps and avoiding this perk at all cost is highly recommended, as it is not worth wasting 1 of 3 perk slots on it.
For comparison - Hitchhiker's traps deal 15 damage by default (twice the amount of Nancy's traps with Hurt'Em) and 45 damage if he uses his Level 3 ability to add a bleed effect to them, making 7,5 damage appear like a joke.
