The skill tree is one of the most important in-game mechanics which benefits both the Family and the Victims, each skill tree has unique perks for specific characters and some will be avaliable for all.

In Patch 06.11.24, the game received an update that removed the Random Nodes from all preexisting skill trees, as well as additional minor changes to their layouts and perk distributions. As of right now, Random Nodes have never returned and likely never will. The official Community Hub article explaining these changes can be found here.
